I-Teco was established in 1997. In 2009, the turnover of I-Teco group of companies totalled 10.65 bln rubles, which was a five-fold increase on the same figure for 2004. Despite the crisis, the company managed to maintain the growth trend and successfully increased the turnover by 5% as compared to 2008. During the last year, the company successfully implemented more than 360 large projects. The company's staff increased by 20% since before the crisis, now comprising 1,050 employees. Certificates
I-Teco holds a whole range of certificates and more than twenty licences necessary to work with special requirements for applied solutions and executors, including work in hard-to-access locations, harsh environmental and seismological conditions, and work providing fire safety and fire-extinguishing (EMERCOM licences). Projects
I-Teco has repeatedly received the right to implement large scale projects on the basis of tenders. Winning an international tender, I-Teco acted as a systems integrator for a project costing in excess of USD120 mln for modernisation and technical rearmament of companies and organisations of Rosgidromet (the Federal Service on Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring).
I-Teco continued the transformation from an infrastructural systems integrator to a service company and became a universal systems integrator. I-Teco completed many projects with very high added value and the percentage of such projects continued to grow. In 2009 it amounted to 49%. Among the completed large complex projects, there is the design and construction IT infrastructure for the Federal Institute for Industrial Property “Russian Agency for Patents and Trademarks” and modernisation of the patent search system PatSearch, based on the in-house system Analytical Courier; the technical support of TNK-BP IT infrastructure; a complex project in ItellaNLC related to integration of the client’s information system into a single integration platform. The I-Teco portfolio contains many major projects including the modernisation of Bashinformsvyaz multiservice network; implementation of automated electronic document management systems in the administration of Vologda Region and the Federal Agency for State Reserves; implementation of a set of solutions for productive assets and property management at Norilsk Nickel. Among others, the company completed the following projects: development of an Internet portal for Novgorod Region authorities; constructing a hardware and software complex in medical and preventive treatment facilities in Moscow for Moscow Municipal Fund of Compulsory Medical Insurance; development of a company management system with a common information space based on a service oriented architecture for Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works; implementation of an operational dispatch management and energy saving system for several organisations in Gazpromneft and Lukoil.
I-Teco participated and was successful in tenders for modernisation of the automated information accounting system of non-commercial and religious organisations for the Ministry of Justice. I-Teco was the winner in another tender for the Federal Custom Service for modernisation of the Russian customs information system. I-Teco also completed an important project for the Federal State Registration, Land Registry and Cartography Service for working with the system of providing government services in digital form. I-Teco created a single federal information resource for registration of property rights for solving problems within the framework of the Electronic Government concept. This resource replaced 50 different regional systems. I-Teco also gained valuable experience in this area in the course of the project implemented for the Kazakhstan Ministry of Justice when it developed and implemented the integrated information system for the community. This system is to become the IT base for providing a wide range of electronic government services to the citizens of Kazakhstan. The value of this project for implementation of Electronic Government in Russia has been proved by the CNews award for the Best IT Project in Government Sector in countries of the CIS which I-Teco received in 2009.
I-Teco completed several major projects for Sberbank ensuring reliability and efficiency of the IT infrastructure for the largest retail bank in Russia. I-Teco installed one of the most complex SUN-solutions in Europe in Sberbank headquarters which allows Sberbank’s central settlement system to become the first Russian company to enter the Tîð 500 of the most powerful computer systems in the world. I-Teco works on the modernisation of data storage of corporate resources, implementing geographically distributed systems of high availability, migration of territorial banks divisions into one catalogue service, Microsoft Active Directory, and mail system Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.
Among other projects in the financial sector, one must note the implementation of the SPECTRUM universal front-office system which was developed by I-Teco, as well as modernisation of the regional offices’ IT infrastructure in the leading commercial banks and building the corporate data processing centre in MDM bank.
Among other services, there is large demand for those designed for raising the efficiency of business and lowering expenses. I-Teco concentrated efforts on the implementation of IT infrastructure virtualisation, optimisation and consolidation of solutions in large commercial companies. With time, the efficiency of the personnel became one of the foremost concerns for companies. An example of a successful solution in this area is the completed solution designed for automation of employee potential management processes and the personnel management function implementation based on SAP HCM solutions for ÒNK-ÂÐ. Implementation of the SAP ERP HCM management solution became one of the largest in Russia. I-Teco completed another project which was just as large: the personnel management functions extended set implementation, based on the SAP HCM solution for the X5 Retail Group.
In 2010, in consortium with IBM and Bearing Point, I-Teco started the largest project in industry designed for corporate management system implementation based on SAP ERP for Severstal. This integrated system allows Severstal to balance expenses and the need for investment in long term projects associated with the development of technologies and innovations based on and taking into the account best practices.
Service and outsourcing
I-Teco plays a big role in the area of outsourcing on the Russian IT market and is actively developing the services based on its own TrastInfo data centre which is still the largest commercial data processing centre of Tier III in Russia. Stability and engineering and information security of the data centre (which can hold up to 800 racks) received praise from such large providers as RTCOMM and Tieto, which located their resources in the data centre premises. I-Teco started long-term projects for data centre outsourcing for the following companies: Norilsk Nickel, Severstal, Kaspersky Laboratory, Innova, Skolkovo and others. Within the framework of outsourcing project, Sberbank of Russia passed to I-Teco relationships with 25 000 of its clients which work with the bank-client system. I-Teco service centre was also entrusted to create the centralised digital assets storage based on data centre TrastInfo which has a network of over one hundred of departments for Sberbank which is the largest retail bank.
Ten years ago, I-Teco became a pioneer in the area of IT service model implementation. Since then, the company has developed the largest practice in the area of ITIL/ITSM technologies. Now more than 40 consultants work for I-Teco and their experience and knowledge can be proved by international certificates and a large number of contracts for IT services management and implementation of methodology on development, received from many large companies.

At the moment, I-Teco is the only company in Russia which owns the complete set of highest statuses, awarded to integrators by NetApp: NetApp Platinum Partner, Authorised Support Partner, Authorised Professional Service Partner (the latter is new in Russia). In 2009, I-Teco was named the best partner of the Russian department of the British Standards Institution (BSI) in the area of international standard ISO/IEC 20000 promotion in Russia and countries of the CIS. I-Teco successfully passed the Symantec Technical Specialist technical certification and thanks to 122 technical certificates secured second place among Russian companies in the area of technical accreditation of this vendor. In 2009, I-Teco received awards from VMware company for sales growth which was 100% and from Lenovo for first place in the “Breakthrough” nomination (and highest status Lenovo Platinum Partner 2010).
In 2009, I-Teco became the proud owner of the whole set of statuses completely new in Russia. Thus I-Teco was the first company in the Russian market to receive the partner accreditation of IBM Dynamic Infrastructure Specialty. I-Teco has the status of retrieval system developer based on the FAST ESP platform. This status is unique in Europe. Within the framework of developing new practices and expertise in the area of information technologies, I-Teco began a partnership with leading network protection software manufacturer TippingPoint and become the first company in Russia which awarded I-Teco the status of authorised partner. Also, I-Teco was the first company in Russia which received the highest “elite” status of partner of PacketMotion, which manufactures solutions for monitoring network users’ activities. I-Teco expanded its IT infrastructure monitoring and management solution portfolio and became the first among Russian integrators to hold the title of AlarmPoint Systems partner. In 2009, I-Teco received a status which is rarely awarded to systems integrators: the company became a certified partner of Schneider Electric in the area of engineering solutions. In 2009, I-Teco grew thanks to purchasing the controlling interest of BI Partner (Moscow) which allowed it to expand its field of competence in the areas of analytical information system (Business Intelligence), data storage building and also budgeting and planning methodology implementation and development.
Swiss company WISeKey which dominates the world market of information security chose I-Teco out of all Russian IT companies as its exclusive partner for promoting secured Internet services technologies (e-Security) and Trusted Cloud Computing in the Russian market. In April 2010, the companies announced the launch of WISeKey Russia joint venture with its headquarters in Moscow.
I-Teco perfects and actively implements its in-house information and analytical designs including the following software: Analytical Courier system of retrieval of information from documents and X-Files dossier management system (certificate of registration in Russia 2005612283 and 20065612282).
