Growth Points

I-Teco was established in 1997. In 2010, the turnover of I-Teco group of companies totalled 12.51 bln rubles. The company managed to maintain the growth trend and successfully increased the turnover by 17% as compared to 2009. During the last year, the company successfully implemented the projects for more than 500customers. The company's staff increased by 24% and comprised 1,300 employees. The high qualifications of I-Teco IT-personnel have been proved by more than 1,400 received certificates, including ones unique in Russia, such as the CDCDP: the Certified Data Center Design Professional international certificate, which is only held by a small number (twenty) of companies in Russia and the Accredited Tier Designer from Uptime Institute.

The key development area of the company’s business is providing of state-of-the-art and high-quality IT-services to customers. Services account for a considerable share in I-Teco turnover. So, the services including consulting and support made up about a half (48%) of the total turnover; 47% accounts for the system integration and soft- and hardware supply, including that within projects; 5% – for the development of software solutions.

I-Teco continues its transformation from a contractor for infrastructure projects to a service oriented IT-company and a universal system integrator. The selected development strategy as a service provider grows in momentum and today I-Teco holds the leading positions in IT-service providing in different IT-market segments. According to CNewsAnalytics, I-Teco is the company number one among IT-outsourcers and service providers for banks, one of the leading providers of BI-solutions in Russia, as well as it is in the Top 5 companies owners of the biggest commercial data centers in Russia. Thus, the own data center of I-Teco – TrustInfo company – has 3 000 sq. m floor-space and provides services not only to a couple of dozens of largest corporate clients, but also to such providers as РТКОММ, Tieto and IBM GlobalServices. In total, hundreds of companies all over the world became direct and indirect users of the data center in 2010.

Certificates

I-Teco holds a whole range of certificates and more than twenty licences necessary to work with special requirements for applied solutions and executors, including work in hard-to-access locations, harsh environmental and seismological conditions, and work providing fire safety and fire-extinguishing (EMERCOM licences). I-Teco has successfully passed the certification of a quality system for compliance with the requirements of Russian standard GOST R ISO 9001-2001, and IT services management system ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005. Based on the results of 2010 and with regard to the industry split 40% of the company revenue accounted for the projects for financial structures and 20% were realized in the public sector. The industrial segment share grew to 11%. The projects carried-out for telecommunication companies made up 8% in the total turnover. The total share of I-Teco work performed for organization of the FMGC-market and other sectors of the economy amounted to 21%.

Projects

Among major projects – designing and implementation of a fail-safe virtualization environment in the data processing centers of Rosbank, VTB-Strakhovanie, Severny Bank of Sberbank RF, SMP-Bank; server fleet upgrade in the headquarters and subsidiaries of GMK Norilsky Nickel; turn-key construction of a new data center for MDM-Bank, including the implementation of all engineering systems and the data-center monitoring and management system, installation and setup of network and server equipment. As well as – setting up a fail-sale file repository with the support of user access from different domains in the Central Office of Sberbank RF, relocation of the corporate data center of Eldorado in short terms; construction of a computing center based on HP SuperDome2 servers for serving individuals for the automated banking system XBANK of Severo-Zapadny bank of Sberbank of Russia; installation of a State cadastre system of Uzbekistan communication facilities on the request of GUP Unicon.UZ.

New works for the customers of our company have been added to the project portfolio of I-Teco. The biggest IT-services outsourcing project in Russia was realized for the Federal Treasury of RF; data backup services are being provided based on SaaS model for GMK Norilsky Nickel, АК TRANSAERO, Sberbank RF and Rosreestr based on the first “cloud” agreement in Russia, entered into between the companies I-Teco and Symantec; the migration of the backup data center of Svyaz-Bank to TrustInfo site has been performed in the shortest time; I-Teco provides support and maintenance of Hi-End equipment and hard- and software of different vendors for ТNК-BP and subsidiaries of the holding on the whole territory of RF; a hard- and software complex has been developed for the public service portal of Rosreestr and its operation is being supported.

Strengthening of the business-consulting practice for financial sector organizations became one of the actively developing areas of I-Teco activity. The company actively developed new industry competencies, including the implementation of operational and credit risk management systems, treasury operations for financial institutions, solutions for metallurgical, telecom and fuel and energy enterprises. In 2010 the company established the transport logistics management practice and is currently a rights owner and innovator of the comprehensive system of motor transport management automation TransBase.

The realized consulting projects include: implementation and maintenance of the corporate governance system based on SAP, covering 7 business-segments and over 20 geographical locations, in the company Severstal; implementation and maintenance of a wide set of personnel management functionalities based on SAPHCM solutions in the company X5 RetailGroup (all divisions of the holding – 80 thousand employees); replication of the corporate templates of HR to the enterprises within ТНК-BP Group; publication of the Russian national standard for IT-services management GOST R MEK 20000:2010, which has been approved by the Federal Agency of RF for technical oversight and metrology; preparation of 12 territorial banks of Sberbank RF for certification for ISO 20000 compliance, five of which have successfully passed the certification audit. Implementation of AS operation management system in all regional departments of the Federal Treasury RF (over 80 locations); implementation of the ERP-system at the Casting and rolling plant; implementation of the IT-service management system in IFD Kapital, the subscription system for IT-services in GK Video International, the management system of IT-assets in TransCreditBank, ТNК-ВР, automation of the user technical helpdesk operation and implementation of the incident management process in the Ural Department of FTS of Russia.

The department for the specific Internet-content processing on web-sites, forums and blogs is developing actively. In 2010 the company project practice in the area of BI-solutions has been widened due to new projects, such as development, implementation and commercial launch of a comprehensive information and analytical system of patent search PatSearch, enabling the parallel operation of more than 1000 experts in 5 languages on the request of FIPS Rospatent; development of a data consolidation system about re-sales in Russia, Ukraine and Belorussia, and its integration to the global warehouse management system in Unilever-Rus; development of a reports generation system, designing of a data repository and development of special reporting forms for Moody’s agency in Deltacredit bank; development of a smart subsystem of text information processing for the Administration of Sakhalin Region within a new automation project of situation centers.

The information security division demonstrated a huge growth. High competencies in the practical application of Federal Law 152 “On the protection of personal data” and solution of legal issues in the area of IB, a wide experience in realization of complex organizational and technical tasks and their interconnection with business-processes of customers made it possible for the company to strengthen significantly its positions in the information security market and attract the attention of both major Russian customers and a number of foreign companies: PWC, Deloitte, KIA, CrediAgricole Bank and other. Projects have been realized on making the personal data protection system compliant with FL-152 for the following companies: Novolipetsk Metallurgical Complex, Sibur Holding, Gazprom-Komplektaciya. Development of a comprehensive information security system has been completed, as well as the implementation of the confidential data leakage protection system (DLP). Two interesting projects on development and implementation of a technical data protection solution in the data center and for the implementation of the confidential data leakage protection system have been completed for GMK Norilsky Nickel.
